The weight of a plane is increased by 40% with current batteries. That makes the flight impossible.

The weight of trucks is limited by regulations. To get enough range, an electric truck could severely limited the amount of cargo it can carry.

The maximum permissible laden mass (MTPLM) limits the amount of batteries you can carry out.

METALIQ is a worldwide patented technology for in-situ hydrogen generation to be used for electricity production or storage.

METALIQ is a patented system for controlled, on-demand in-situ hydrogen generation using alkali metals and alkaline earth metals and water. 

It is based on the stabilization of the reactions of alkali metals, alkali-earth metals or alloys among them with water. Hydrogen is generated on-site, in lesser weight, at atmospheric pressure, mild temperature and without significant energy requirement. This hydrogen is further feed to a fuel cell system to produce electrical energy

Fuel commercialisation and distribution is based on a recyclable cartridges system. This simplifies the recharging method, avoiding the need to access to power sources and the power storage.

Widely available and cheap raw materials: 4 of the 10 most abundant elements of the Earth crust are constituent of METALIQ. For instance, sodium can be extracted from halite deposits, distributed worldwide.

Out of the carbon cycle

100% carbon emissions free hydrogen source. During the chemical reaction for hydrogen production, no greenhouse gases are generated because it is not based on reforming of hydrocarbons.

CO2 negative

Sodium hydroxide is a byproduct in the hydrogen production. This is a CO2 sequestering material. For instance, 500 L of CO2 can be captured per kg of Na used in the process.
